Sea Rescue Boss Update


This project was born during the Game Jam Plus 23/24,with limited time and resources, I managed to create a playable build all by myself using Godot3.5.
However, as is often the case, there was a missing piece - a feature I had envisioned since the first draft: the boss.

Being relatively new to game development, every line of code, every bug fixed, and every feature added feels like a victory. I've been diving headfirst into learning programming, and while it's been challenging, it's also incredibly rewarding. Each hurdle is an opportunity to refine my skills, and I can see the progress with each passing day.

The missing boss feature, which I had to omit during the jam, has been haunting my dreams since then. But fear not, for I've been hard at work to bring that vision to life.

Today, I'm proud to present the game as I initially idealized it during the game jam. The missing boss feature has been implemented, and let me tell you, it adds a whole new layer of excitement and challenge to the game.

The boss is not just a one-time encounter; it's a recurring nightmare for players, returning stronger each time it's vanquished. This dynamic element adds a layer of unpredictability, ensuring that every playthrough remains engaging and full of surprises.

Upon defeating the relentless boss, players are rewarded with an extra life, providing a much-needed lifeline for the battles that lie ahead.
