Ethereal Covenant Devlog#1


Yay first time submitting for an online jam ^^

I really like the theme and limitation so i decided to join.Recently im playing the first Shin Megami Tensei for the snes so i decided to make a game inspired by it.When i found an amazing plugin for Godot the project started to take shape.

Im more than a visual guy and i cant write good story/dialog or music so i had to play on my strenghts and focus on the graphics/gameplay.As the hours passed by i had to polish the combat system and generate the map that consumed a lot of time.I had some ideas for the plot and a dialog but i decided to cut it out for the submission.

Now im planning to release an update to wrap things around to the game feel less like a prototype.The Browser version is currently the most updated with bugfixes and tweaks that prevent being locked in a especific region of the map.I intend to release them in the html form until i have a version im content with that will be executable.
